Oatmeal Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies

These oatmeal banana chocolate chip cookies are a simple to make gluten-free, plant-based sweet treat that uses four clean ingredients. No refined sugar is used in this vegan recipe at all. The sweetness comes from the bananas and stevia chocolate chips.
I love making these as an easy dessert or snack to go. Indulgence without the indulgence.

Health benefits for these Oatmeal Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies
According to Dr. Axe, gluten-free rolled oats are a good source of vitamins, iron, magnesium and selenium. That is why the American Heart Association considers oatmeal to be a “certified heart healthy food.”
Oatmeal contains healthy fatty acids since the grain’s entire germ, endosperm and bran remain intact. That is where not only nutrients are stored, but also small amounts of essential fats.
On to the no sugar aspect, eliminating sugar is a sure way to reduce inflammation which is what contributes to most potential health issues in the body. Thankful for the natural sweetness in fruits and stevia leaves.
The nut butter I used for this is nuttzo which is a blend of cashews, almonds, brazil nuts, flaxseeds, chia seeds, hazelnuts, pumpkin seeds with Celtic sea salt.
