Spirulina is known for being one of the most nutrient dense foods on the planet. You’ll always see spirulina on a list of superfoods. You can get spirulina in tablets or powder form. For this recipe, you’ll want to get it in powder. It’s easy to implement it into many recipes or drinks, especially if you want to get a pretty color green. I will say that it does have a very potent taste that isn’t exactly pleasant, so you want to make sure that you are blending it with the right types of flavors to mask that algae that naturally comes with spirulina. Luckily with this recipe, you don’t taste any of that potent sea flavor. It’s just pure deliciousness.

You can conveniently get spirulina for yourself through The Plant Based Palette Shop.
