How to Make Oat Milk
Out of all of the vegan plant-based milks out there, oat milk is definitely one of the most sustainable. I do love nuts, but unfortunately they require a lot of water in the growing process.
Don’t get me wrong, I still enjoy all kinds of nuts. I frequently buy macadamia milk because it’s delicious. Oat milk comes at a close second in my ranking system.
This vegan oat milk recipe is so quick and easy. It’s kind of ridiculous how fast it is. It only requires a few ingredients: oats, dates, salt and vanilla extract.
Blend everything up for no more than 60 seconds. Otherwise it’ll get slimy and no body wants that.
Transfer the blended oat liquid into a nut bag or thin towel over a bowl. You want to make sure you get all of the liquid out. I recommend using a nut bag.
